Delta Dental of Oregon is part of the Moda, Inc. family. Moda is a health company committed to building healthier communities by helping our members get well sooner and live well longer. Our family of companies includes Delta Dental of Oregon & Alaska and Moda Health, which provides health benefits to members across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Delta Dental of Oregon is part of the Delta Dental Association. As the nation’s largest and most trusted dental benefits carrier, Delta Dental covers more Americans than any other dental benefits provider — and strives daily to make dental coverage more accessible and affordable for you.
You can access Delta Dental networks on all 3 plans. However, your benefit dollar goes further on the Delta Dental PPO Network.
Outside of Oregon? For national searches, please go to the Delta Dental National Directory to find in-network dentists wherever you go.
Balance billing is when a provider bills you for the difference between their charge and allowed amount by Delta Dental. For example, if the provider’s charge is $100 and the allowed amount is $70, the provider may balance bill you for the remaining $30. Delta Dental PPO providers will not balance bill you. Delta Dental Premier providers will balance bill but not above their contracted rate so there is a significant protection in place. Non-participating or out of network providers can balance bill you.
